RHS Certificate 2 - Plant Growth, Propagation & Development

HOME STUDY - HORTICULTURE COURSE- DISTANCE LEARNING

RHS Certificate 2 - Principles of Garden Planning, Establishment & Maintenance

OPEN LEARNING HORTICULTURE COURSE - DISTANCE LEARNING

  • Accredited in the UK
  • Awarded by the Royal Horticultural Society
  • Study Online; or using CD or printed notes : your choice
  • 100 hourse study where and when you want, from anywhere in the world, and complete the course as fast or slow as best suits you

This course provides a route to employment in professional horticulture by assessing knowledge of the scientific principles and underpinning horticultural practices, and supports career development for those already working in the profession. It also provides a foundation for further learning or training in the field of horticulture.

 

There are no prerequisites required for entry into this course.

 

 

RHS Certificate 3 - Principles of Plant Growth, Health & Applied Propagation

Distance Education Course -RHS Level III Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth, Health and Applied Propagation.    

 

Develop your ability to describe the principles of plant taxonomy, structure, function and growth, the management of plant health, and plant propagation.

 

This is one of several new RHS Qualifications being phased in to replace older courses over the second half of 2010.

Prerequisite: RHS Certificate II in Horticulture or equivalent

RHS Certificate 3 Principles of Garden Planning, Construction and Maintenance

RHS LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE (Principles of Garden Planning, Construction and Planting)
  • Learn about garden planning, construction and planting

Develop your ability to describe the principles of using landscaping and other specialist garden elements in the garden, landscape construction, garden design, survey techniques, specialist garden and urban planting.

Royal Horticultural Society Master of Horticulture

This is a course for people who have already completed lower level RHS qualifications or other certificates or diplomas with us.

IT IS BEST STUDIED DIRECTLY WITH THE RHS
We will assist and support our graduates in any application they make to be accepted into this course with the RHS.
 
A horticultural management oriented qualification for anyone with diploma or higher qualifications in horticulture or a related discipline (or equivalent). This is accredited as a first degree level course in the UK. The qualification is awarded upon satisfaction of completing assessments in eight modules, which are conducted by the RHS.

NOTE

  • Most assessments can be undertaken from anywhere in the world; however, some of the assessments may require you to visit and undertake them in the UK before completing the qualification.
  • Enrolment cannot be finalised until it is approved by the RHS,
  • This course is not part of the changes that are currently affecting RHS certificates and diplomas.
