Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens
Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens was first conceived in the mid 1920s not only as an aesthetic garden setting, but also as an educational and ecological representation of vegetation types ranging from the mountains to the sea. This ideal has continued to be an inspiring force in the development of the garden, and today Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens offers a representation of local indigenous flora, educational activities and various guided tours. The nursery stocks indigenous and horticultural plants. Some areas of the garden have historic landmark status.
Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens is located at 1212 Mission Canyon Road, Santa Barbara, CA 93105. For more information contact info@sbbg.org phone: 805-682-4726 Website: http://www.sbbg.org.html
