Deciduous tree to 20m high by 4m wide. Attractive cream bark. Dark green ovate leaves with pale underside. Flowers are male and female catkins.
Uses
Ornamental tree suitable for parklands and large gardens.
Culture
Prefers full sun, cold to cool temperatures, moist conditions and well-drained soils. Frost tolerant, but drought sensitive. Propagate from seed.
