Judas Tree

Deciduous tree to 8m high by 5m wide. Leaves are round and blue-green. Smooth grey-brown bark. Pea-like flowers are pink/mauve forming in clusters along the branches. Fruit are brown pea-like pods.

Uses

Specimen tree for parks and gardens.

Culture

Requiring full sun, it prefers well-drained, fertile, alkaline soils and is sensitive to drought and frost. Propagate by seed in autumn or budding in late summer.
