Boston Ivy

Deciduous climber that produces tendrils with sucker-like discs used for anchorage. Can grow up to 15m high, depending upon the support. The leaves are compound with three leaflets and turn bright red or purple in autumn. Insignificant yellow-green flowers in autumn.

Uses

Ornamental climber suitable for growing on sheltered walls, or up the trunk of trees.

Culture

Grow in semi-shade in cool and temperate climates. Prefers fertile, well-drained soil. Protect from winds. Propagate from cuttings.
