Clump-forming, herbaceous perennial with leaves to 30cm long. The flowers are tubular, long-spurred, blue and 25mm wide, occurring in spring and summer.
Uses
Ornamental perennial suitable for shaded herbaceous borders or under deciduous trees.
Culture
Prefers semi-shade, a cool climate and moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Frost tolerant. Propagate by seed in autumn or division when dormant.
