Kentucky Bluegrass
Rhizomatous, perennial turf grass with smooth, erect stems. The leaves are flat, smooth and blue-green. If left unmown, will grow to 15cm high and produce spikelets in spreading panicles.
Uses
Turf grass suitable for domestic lawns, golf courses and as an instant lawn.
Culture
Prefers full sun and either cool or temperate climates. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and should be mown no lower than 2.5 cm above the soil surface. Will tolerate frost. Propagate by seed or rhizomes. Susceptible to rust and fusarium blight.
