Fast-growing annual plant reaching a height of approx 60-90cm. Leaves are deep-green and lanceolate. The flowers are large, daisy-like and bright yellow with red-brown centres occurring in summer.

Uses

Ornamental flower suitable as a bedding plant and as a cut flower.

Culture

Suitable for full sun in a cool or mild climate, Tickseed prefers fertile, well-drained soil and will not tolerate heavy clays. Tolerates frost. Stake if required. Propagate by seed.
