Yellow Archangel
Also known as Galeobdolon argentum. Herbaceous perennial spreading from rhizomes and stolons. Approx .3m high. Leaves are ovate and silver-green with dentate margins. Flowers are racemes of tubular yellow flowers held on leafy spikes in summer. Varieties featuring various coloured leaves are available.
Uses
Perennial groundcover suitable for cottage gardens, garden beds and under trees.
Culture
Suitable for full or semi-shade in cool or temperate climates. Prefers well-drained soil. Propagate by seed or division. May become invasive.
