Clump-forming herbaceous perennial .3m high by .3m wide. Leaves are soft and fern-like. Small, pea-shaped flowers are purple or blue and borne on slender stems in spring-summer.
Uses

Culture
Prefers full sun and a cool or temperate climate. Grows best in moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Tolerates frost. Propagate by seed in autumn or division in spring.
