Royal Fern
Clump-forming herbaceous perennial fern growing to 1.8m high. Outer fronds are long, narrow, mid-green and bipinnate. Inner fronds hold the spore-bearing crowns.
Uses
Perennial fern suitable for bog gardens and waterlogged sites.
Culture
Suitable for full sun or shade in cool or temperate climates. Prefers wet, fertile soil. Tolerates waterlogging and frost. Prune old fronds regularly. Propagate by division or spores.
