Pineapple Lily

Herbaceous perennial to 60cm high by 60cm wide, arising from a bulb. The basal leaves are semi-upright with wavy margins. The stems often feature purple spots and support white-green flowers with purple-fringed petals surrounded by green, leaf-like bracts.

Ornamental flowering bulb suitable for garden beds and herbaceous borders in warmer areas. Best grown in pots in cooler climates.

Suitable for full sun in temperate and warm climates. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Avoid watering when dormant during winter and protect bulbs from frost. Propagate by seed or divide clumps during spring.
