Evergreen herbaceous perennial or sub-shrub growing approx 60cm high and wide. The leaves are furry and broadly ovate. Insignificant flowers. Varieties feature variegated leaves.
Uses
Herbaceous plant with ornamental foliage, suitable for a shaded and protected position in garden beds. Popular in hanging baskets and as an indoor plant in a well-lit position.
Culture
Grow in semi-shade in a cool or temperate climate. Keep moist if grown in full sun. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. Frost sensitive. Prune to maintain desired shape. Propagate from cuttings.
