Culture

Full sun, Water moderately when growing, but very little if all in cooler weather. Prune after flowering in summer; shortening shoots that have flowered.

Cultivars

D.  gracilis (Japanese Snowflower)   -to 1m tall, white flowers, there is also a cultivar of this species with gold variegated foliage.

D. gracilis “Nikko”  -to 60cm tall, 1m diameter, snow white flowers.
