                            An evergreen shrub which grows to a height of 2 metres with a spread of 2 metres.  Leaves are large and ovate. The flowers range from pink to white to blue, depending on the pH of the soil (acid = blue; alkaline = pink).

                            Culture
                            
                            As with most Hydrangeas, this species prefers rich, deep, porous soils and plenty of water.  It will do best in a partially shaded position and is frost resistant, but drought tender.
